Hi, you're in the studio with Luke from GuitarIQ.com. Welcome to Guitar iQ&A, where you send in your burning guitar questions and I do my best to answer them! Today's question comes in from Jonathan, who writes:
"Hey Luke, I live in Australia. Is there another way to purchase your books outside of the US without needing to go through US retailers? Cheers."
Hey Jonathan, thanks for checking out my guitar books. The short answer is yes. My books are available in a bunch of different places. They come in both print and digital formats as well. So if you have a smartphone, tablet, eReader, or laptop, this pretty much gives you instant access to them no matter where you live. You can get them via all major eBook platforms including Kindle, iBooks, Kobo, Nook, and Google Play. I'll make sure to include links to all of these website in the description.
The book that Jonathan specifically contacted me about was my latest release: The Guitar Notebook. This is a smart practice journal for guitar. I based this practice system not only on personal experience, but also on key insights from experts in the field of learning and skill development. And because this is more of a practice planner and workbook, it didn't really make sense for me to release it digitally, so it's only available in print. The good news is that like my eBooks my print books are also available in a number of different places worldwide. The most obvious print retailers that I usually point people toward are Amazon and Barnes & Noble. But if these aren't available in your country or they're just not your preferred retailers, there are a number of other options.
First up, before I give you a list of websites, I'd recommend checking out www.bookdepository.com. Not only do they have a massive range but they also offer FREE shipping worldwide. I’ve personally used them and they're great. For a list of some more country-specific retailers, you can check out the following (again I'll link to all of these websites so don't worry if you miss them).
USA & Canada
Well, that's it from me. I know this was probably a question that a few of you had, so hopefully it was helpful. Again, I'll set up a page on our website that links specifically to each of those retailers I mentioned. You’ll find the link for that page in the description. And last of all, as always if you have a question that you'd like answered just leave it in the comments or head over to the Q&A tab on our website. And you might find your question featured in a video! All the best in the practice room this week. Chat soon!
